The ProFusion Backups system ensures complete privacy protection. ProFusion Backups uses a three-tiered encryption system which encrypts data on the user’s computer, again in transit and finally when at rest in storage.

Users can also opt to use ProFusion Backups UltraSafe^TM which means that not even the ProFusion Backup's engineers can view the data stored on the ProFusion servers. Only the user who put it there can ever access the data.

This stands in contrast to most other online backup systems, where data is neither encrypted on your client, nor stored as encrypted data so as to prevent employees of the software vendor from accessing stored data.

Enterprise Compression & Transfer Systems

The ProFusion Backups compression system only backs up changed files and then only the changed 1’s and 0’s are transferred. On a 500 MB database (i.e. QuickBooks ™/Turbo Tax™) the daily transfer can be as small as 5 KB. Our transfer system is enterprise grade, meaning that large file transfers are resumed at the KB of interruption, and do not restart at the beginning like most online backup systems.
